Central Home Decor ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and renovation projects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you request an estimate, book a consultation, contact us, or subscribe to our newsletter, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and city/state.
- Project details — the rooms or services you're interested in, approximate budget, timeline, and any notes you share with us.
- Property information — project address, photographs of existing spaces, and measurements, collected only during an active estimate or project.
- Technical data — browser type, device, and pages visited, used in aggregate for site performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, schedule walkthroughs, prepare quotes and contracts, deliver projects, send warranty and scheduling communications, send our monthly newsletter (only if subscribed), and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Estimates and Project Records
Quotes, drawings, permits, invoices, and warranty records are retained for the life of your warranty plus seven years, as required for insurance and dispute-resolution purposes.
4. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses only essential session cookies for contact and booking forms. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are helpful. You can block cookies in your browser at any time without losing site functionality.
5. Newsletter Communications
Our newsletter, "The Polished Home," is strictly opt-in. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Subscribing or unsubscribing at any time does not affect your estimate, project, or warranty.
6. How We Share Information
We share personal data only with: crew leads and tradespeople assigned to your project; permit offices where legally required; our insurers; and payment processors. All parties are bound to use the data solely for the purpose shared.
7. Data Security
We store enquiries and subscriber lists on access-controlled servers, encrypt transmissions, and limit access to staff who need it. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational safeguards seriously.
8. Data Retention
Enquiry records are kept for 24 months if a project does not proceed. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 9).
9. Your Rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, request a copy, request correction or deletion, and opt out of marketing. Our services are directed to adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
